To Speed up the relocation site for Rokatenda refugee, BPBDs cooperate with the Department of Public Works, BAPEDA, Sikka local government and TNI to measure and clear the land/site on (30/8). Unloaded heavy equipment were used to clear land to make road access.
Relocation Site is about 6 km away from Maumere, located in the district of West Alok, Hewuli Village. There are 2 relocation locations with extensive of 3.5 acres. The purpose of the it is to make easier to divide the lots, and adjust the draft site plan. The measurements will be obtained by the number of lots and access roads.
According to the Head of Rehabilitation and Reconstruction BPBDs Sikka, “relocation land is Sikka government-owned land tenure systems to wear. The housing to Built are semi-permanent with a land area of about 150m2 including the arable land. Socialization relocation plan was scheduled at the beginning of next week and construction will begin in September. (Rsp)
